Abstract:

ABSTRACT: The Medicare Access and Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015 offers significant financial incentives for high-performing clinicians. Under MACRA, clinicians are ranked among their peers, and scores will be made publicly available the CMS. Clinicians with higher performance scores receive higher payment adjustments. This article intends to familiarize clinicians with MACRA, and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System pathway, and provides valuable resources and recommendations for clinicians to maximize reimbursement and succeed under MACRA.

For over 45 years.

The American Association for Physician Leadership has helped physicians develop their leadership skills through education, career development, thought leadership and community building.

The American Association for Physician Leadership (AAPL) changed its name from the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) in 2014. We may have changed our name, but we are the same organization that has been serving physician leaders since 1975.
