Today marks the return of programming for senior physician leaders — the Vanguard Program. As part of the 2018 AAPL Thought Leadership Summit, the two-day Vanguard Program offers custom, invitation-only education and networking opportunities.

Discussions will focus on the economics of health care, disaster management, workforce disruptions, industry disruption and finance. Today’s Vanguard events begin at 3 p.m. in Back Bay Ballroom A. Monday’s events begin at 8:30 a.m. in the same location.

Vanguard members serve on review panels, analyze and abstract topical discussions, write articles for the association’s publications, and represent it at events. Their counsel is sought by the association’s board of directors and they help guide its future. In return, the association offers the latest career advancement opportunities and other professional benefits.
