Julie T. Joseph
MD, MBA, MPH, CPE, FAAPL
Julie Joseph, MD, MBA, MPH, CPE, FAAPL, is a Certified Physician Executive and a board-certified Internist and Infectious Diseases specialist. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and her Infectious Diseases fellowship at New York Medical College. Dr. Joseph is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She also has a Master in Public Health from New York Medical College and an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School.
Dr. Joseph has worked in academic medicine as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at New York Medical College and Columbia University Medical Center. She has also taught graduate courses in public health/epidemiology at New York Medical College School of Public Health. Dr. Joseph later transitioned to the payor side working at Anthem-Empire BlueCross BlueShield and EmblemHealth in New York City. She has served on healthcare organization boards including the WF Cerebral Palsy Center at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Joseph has been actively involved with the AAPL and she looks forward to contributing her medical, payor and board member experiences to the AAPL Board.
