Ronya Green, MD, MPH, MBA, CPE, is a distinguished, board-certified family medicine physician and healthcare leader dedicated to reducing health inequalities and fostering improved health outcomes for diverse populations. With a robust clinical and operational background, Green serves as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for the State of Tennessee, where her strategic vision and expertise shape healthcare initiatives that impact millions. She is also the owner and operator of Rapha Healthcare, PLLC, a membership-based primary care practice integrated with behavioral health, which offers comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, delivered through both in-person and virtual services.

Green earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, followed by residency training at the Baylor Garland Family Medicine Residency Program in North Texas. Additionally, she holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, credentials that underscore her commitment to evidence-based leadership and operational excellence. She is a Certified Physician Executive, recognized by the American Association of Physician Leadership, a designation that reflects her high-level expertise in healthcare governance, strategy, and executive management.

Throughout her career, Green has held influential roles in both clinical and organizational leadership. She has served on the boards and quality committees of multiple accountable care organizations, where she has championed value-based care and overseen quality improvement initiatives that have led to measurable patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. Green serves on the Board of Directors for the QLink Accountable Care Organization. As the current Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians,

Green actively advocates for inclusive practices and equitable care standards, reinforcing her commitment to addressing health-related social needs through systemic, community-centered approaches.
