Edgar G. Chedrawy, MD, MS, FRCSC, FACS, MHA, CPE, FAAPL, MCPDC, is a highly experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Senior Physician Executive specializing in strategic change in healthcare. He has practiced at several prominent institutions in the US and Canada, including Northshore University Health System and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Chedrawy served as Head of Division of Cardiac Surgery at Queen Elisabeth II Health Sciences Center in Halifax, NS, and is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Health Administration at Dalhousie University.
Dr. Chedrawy is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the AAPL, and a
Master Certified Physician Development Coach. He is a Cohort Leader for CPE Certification by AAPL and a member of the Editorial Board for PLJ- Physician Leadership Journal. Dr. Chedrawy founded Chedrawy Healthcare Consulting (CHC), a concierge consulting firm that helps healthcare organizations build physician-hospital alignment through strategic planning and execution. His coaching program, Leadership By Design©, has helped healthcare executives worldwide.
