Revenue Cycle Check Up

In-Person

If you’ve ever asked your practice administrator, “How are we doing?” or you’ve asked yourself “Why am I working as hard as ever and generating less revenue?” This session will show you why through a forensic analysis of the financial reports that every physician should know about the practice revenue cycle.

Whether you are a leader in a healthcare system C-Suite, work in a small group or a large multi-specialty group, or are employed by a hospital, there are key financial reports that every physician should request and regularly review. Regardless of specialty, there are standard dashboard reports and metrics that should be familiar to all physicians.

To make this session personally valuable, you will be asked to bring a selection of your own or department’s revenue cycle reports with you to the meeting. When you enroll in the course, the report listing and the version to run will be listed in the pre-work for the course. For example, accounts receivable are ones that will be reviewed; but it can be run in half a dozen ways—and each version tells a story.

You will return home with probing questions to ask, answers around your own reports, and most importantly, what needs to change going forward.
