Anthony (Tony) Slonim, MD, DrPH, CPE, FAAPL, is a Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics, and Health Systems Science and Interprofessional Practice at the Virginia Tech-Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia. He provides clinical care to adult and pediatric patients, performs health services research, and teaches medical and graduate students.

Throughout his career, Slonim has held several leadership and academic roles. He has been an active AAPL member for more than 20 years and is a Certified Physician Executive and AAPL Fellow. Slonim has also served on the AAPL Board and as the Inaugural Editor-in-Chief of the Physician Leadership Journal.
