Expert speakers focus on changes in industry and finance on the final day of the 2018 Physician Leadership Summit.
The 2018 Physician Leadership Summit wraps up today with two discussions about disruptions.
The conversations, as part of the Vanguard Program, will look at industry disruption and financial disruption within health care.
At 8:30 a.m., lawyer James Daniel, director of the Hancock Daniel & Johnson firm, will discuss industry mergers and acquisitions, and Jason Lineen, vice president for strategy of Avia Health Innovation, will talk about technology and digital trends. Both will speak within the framework of how these factors influence health care today and in the future.
At 9:30 a.m., Frank J. Lexa, MD, MS, MA, FACR, a neuroradiologist affiliated with the University of Arizona, will explore the intersection of health care and business. Lexa’s expertise in business and finance has enabled him to teach abroad and serve as a strategic consultant in capital ventures, and more.
The day’s activities — and the Summit itself — concludes before noon.
