Program Description

The Mastering Dyad Leadership Certification is a comprehensive 6-month program designed to elevate the capabilities of executive physician and nurse leaders for organizational impact. This course aims to empower participants with the skills needed to excel in dyad leadership roles within healthcare settings. Participants will master the art of delivering compelling presentations to professional stakeholders and the AAPL community, ensuring their ideas are communicated with impact. The curriculum includes the development of a robust LEAN project plan, emphasizing the formulation of SMART goals and the incorporation of A3 problem-solving components for continuous improvement. Participation in this certification offers the ability to present at a national level, at a large venue, about the dyad’s organization and organizational achievements.

Throughout the program, learners will consult closely with faculty and their peers to learn to identify and foster the elements of a healthy team, implementing improvement plans that drive meaningful organizational change. The program will also focus on enhancing self-awareness by helping participants identify their individual strengths and weaknesses and leveraging this knowledge to improve interpersonal dynamics within the dyad relationship. Additionally, participants will gain insights into various communication styles, learning to balance assertiveness and responsiveness to create a harmonious and effective leadership environment. By the end of this certification, graduates will be well-equipped to collaboratively lead with confidence, effect organizational change, and ensure positive outcomes for their teams and institutions.

Participants will also receive coaching and consulting from the program faculty so that they are able to effectively and successfully present the outcomes of their program project to the organizational stakeholders.

Program Cost: $7,500 per Dyad - $3,750 per individual
