Catherine Chua

Catherine M. Chua, DO, FAAPF, FMNM, CPE, FAAPL, is a Board Certified Osteopathic Family Physician and has board certification in Functional and Integrative medicine (ABPS). She is the CMO at Davis Health System in West Virginia. She is a graduate of the AHA/AMGA population health fellowship and the Intermountain Advanced Training Program for quality. She will have completed a Master's Degree in Population Health in July of 2023. She has been practicing medicine for twenty-one years in rural WV and has held a leadership role in her current organization for the last six years. She was the Incident Commander for the pandemic response for their system. She is the VP of outpatient clinics, ED, Trauma, Laboratory and Radiology services, Rehabilitation Services, and Quality and Risk Management for all of Davis Health System. She serves on a multi-disciplinary citywide committee attempting to establish a program to address homelessness and addiction in the community. She serves on the WSMA subcommittee developing Physicians LEAD WV, the WV Higher Education Policy Commission Division of Health Sciences Advisory Committee, and the AHA Region 3 Policy Board. She is married to a fellow physician and has two grown children, two chocolate labs, and a hobby farm where she raises and stores much of her own food. An AAPL member since 2017, she was certified as a Physician Executive by CCMM in 2018.
