AAPL has secured a discounted room block for attendees. To take advantage of the special rate, please book your room through the link below by May 10, 2023.

Registration is not required prior to reserving a room, however, AAPL will be cross checking housing lists against registered attendees.

The hotel will sell out quickly and we recommend booking your hotel reservation as soon as the room block becomes available. Early registrants will be notified of this availability first.

There are two major airports convenient to the JW Marriott Chicago:

REAL ID

All Americans traveling by air will need a REAL ID or another accepted form of identification to board a flight within the U.S. on and after October 1, 2021. A traditional driver’s license will no longer be accepted through airport security. Domestic travelers may use:

• REAL ID (generally marked with a star in the upper portion of the card)

• U.S. passport or passport card

• U.S. military ID

• DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)

• Enhanced driver’s licenses (offered in MI, MN, NY, VT and WA. Generally marked with U.S. flag)

Chicago’s central location and its position as a hub for the nation’s major interstates make it a convenient drive from anywhere in the country. Chicago is accessible via several major interstates and highways: I-90 (Kennedy Expressway), I-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway), I-55 (Stevenson Expressway), I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway), and I-294 (Tri-State Tollway).

Weather and Dress Code

Temperatures average around 78°F – 92°F (26°C – 33°C), while rainfall averages from 3.7 – 4.3 inches (94 – 109mm). It’s cooler near the lake, and June is typically the wettest month of the year.

The dress code for the conference is business casual. It is recommended to bring a light jacket or sweater as meeting rooms tend to be cooler.
